GERMAN PORCELAIN BASKET AND LIONS FIGURAL MINIATURE LAMP, ball-form font depicting a basket in white ground with applied rose sprays, supported by three sitting lions, each with naturalistic decoration, supported by a circular base in earth tones, underside impressed "193 / 2" and with maker's mark, opaque white umbrella-form shade, period collar. Fitted with an A & P Gaudard burner, colorless chimney. C. G. Scherholz & Son. Fourth quarter 19th/early 20th century. 13 3/8" H to top of shade, 6 1/4" H to top of collar, 5 1/8" D base.
Excellent condition, undamaged except for expected minute flakes/roughness to applied flowers. Setup undamaged.
