VICTORIAN HOBNAIL / DEW DROP BRASS KEROSENE HANGING / LIBRARY LAMP, colorless opalescent shade, frame comprising of simple scroll harp arms supporting a matching cut-out and stamped zig-zag patterned shade band and leveler, non-matching patterned font holder with rib and scroll pattern and a smoke bell, horizontal spring tension ceiling motor. Colorless diamond and dot patterned font with side refill feature, No. 2 period collar. Fitted with a period No. 2 slip burner and non-period colorless chimney. Colorless glass prisms to shade band and leveler. Together with a leveler, together by association. Late 19th/early 20th century. 38" H as hanging. Shade 5 3/4" H, 6" D top, 13 7/8" D base.
Undamaged shade and font, brass elements with some expected minute wear and minute denting. Prisms with expected flakes/roughness. Remaining articles undamaged.
