Item Details
Description
An early Victorian diamond and enamel pendant. Of oval outline, depicting a willow tree set throughout with rose-cut diamonds, and a white enamel and rose-cut diamond urn, on a purple enamel panel. Length 4.2cms. Weight 15gms.
Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear. Possible altered from another item of jewellery. Cut and setting of rose-cut diamonds prevents total carat weight estimation. Diamond fairly well matched. Diamonds fairly bright. Diamonds show light coloured inclusions which can be seen fairly easily under magnification. Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment. Diamonds and enamel in fair condition with some abrasion and minor nibbles to the girdle and facet edges of many of the diamond and some abrasion to the enamel of the urn. Condition reports are offered as a guide only and we highly recommend inspecting any lot to satisfy yourself as to its condition.
