DELFT PLATES - Group of (3) 18th c. Dutch Delft Plates from the Boyazoglu Collection, blue and white tin glazed earthenware with chinoiserie decoration, the plate with multiple figures is marked "W" for Weesp (1764-1771) and "AD", others are unmarked, all three have Collection Boyazoglu labels, and the Weesp plate has a Sotheby's label, size ranges 8 3/4" - 9" diameter. All three have frits and glaze losses to rims, one plate (with water scene) has three small chips under the rim. These were part of a large Delft collection assembled by Jan Boyazoglu during his mid-20th c. European and South African travels, and sold at Sotheby's on January 28, 1986.
