CLYDE BUTCHER (FL/CA, 1942 - ) - "Loxahatchee #9" (Jonathan Dickenson State Park, Florida), a monumental silver gelatin photograph, pencil signed and titled 2/5, dated 2000, titled on Big Cypress Gallery of Ochopee, Florida, as part of the 'Collector Edition Series', photo taken in 1991. In black metal frame, matted, under UV plexiglas. OS: 47" x 61 1/2", image size: 37" x 51". Fine condition. From the galleries site: "This river is the pride of the community of Jupiter on the east coast of Florida. It is a wild and scenic river that runs through town, but when you are canoeing on it you’d never know you were a step away from a busy community. Analog – Archival Silver Gelatin Photograph. Clyde’s silver gelatin black and white images are created using an 8” x 10”, 11” x 14”, or 12” x 20” view camera. Clyde prints his images in his own darkroom on fiber-base paper in a limited edition. The photographs are selenium toned, then mounted and matted to current archival standards". Current list price is $6,595 plus shipping.
