Description
A lady's 1950s 14ct gold diamond and ruby manual wind cocktail watch. The circular dial, with applied gold coloured Arabic numeral and minute increments, within a brilliant-cut diamond bezel, the the square ruby sides and snake-link bracelet. Dial signed Cartier. Movement signed Cressarrow Watch Co. Estimated total diamond weight 0.15ct. Length 15.7cms. Weight excluding movement 14gms.
  • Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear.

  • Watch does not appear to function when wound.

  • Diamonds well matched.

  • Diamonds bright.

  • No obvious inclusions can be seen under magnification.

  • Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.

  • Diamonds in good condition with minor abrasions.

  • Rubies well matched.

  • Rubies medium to slightly dark purplish-red, well saturated, with fair clarity and typical inclusions.

  • Rubies in mostly good to fair condition with some abrasion and minor nibbles to the girdle and facet edges, two rubies are cracked.

  • Inside of case stamped 14K.

  • Inside of case numbered 016815.

  • Case back engraved with monogram reading 'H.H.B'.
