A GROUP OF TWENTY-FOUR CHINESE AND JAPANESE PARCEL GILT AND POLYCHROME PAINTED PORCELAIN WARES, 19TH AND 20TH CENTURIES, comprising a colorfully painted celadon plate centering various species of birds amongst scattered blossoming stems and fluttering butterflies, reversing to an underside enclosing an underglaze blue square form seal mark, diameter: 10"; a set of four English chinoiserie iron red ground tea cups with three saucers, each centering a couple and boy in pseudo traditional robes beneath a blossoming tree, within diapered borders centering shaped floral cartouches, diameter: 3 7/8"; three diminutive Occupied Japan Hokutocha sake cups and saucers, with sides centering circular floral decorated reserves, within gilt and iron red painted ground, height: 1 1/4", diameter: 1 1/4"; four Kutani cups with six lids, traditional color ground with gilt decoration, overglaze iron red six character mark, height: 2", diameter: 3 3/4".
