The larger of the two is an 1880's French Jumeau with head incised "DEPOSE 9" with blue glass paperweight-type eyes, closed mouth, on the original full jointed French wood and composition body with straight wrists. The curly mohair wig over cork pate is most likely original and shoes are nice antique brown leather with the Keystone logo on the soles. In addition there is a clown toy with bisque flange head with closed mouth and inset blue glass eyes. He wears a white lambs wool curly wig and has mechanism in the torso that when pressed, hands go to clap cymbals and music plays. The lower legs are made of a crude composition but with painted striped stockings and black boots with slight heels and gold button painted as well. Jumeau has severe crack and re-glue across the forehead. (Good - Very Good). Largest: 19-1/4'' T.
