The ovoid form fully painted in the round with a romantic scene of figures in 18th century dress and a castle on reverse and flanked by scrolled foliate bronze handles below a flared neck and rim in cobalt with gold enameled scrolled acanthus lattice and still lives, raised on pin and socket mount plinth with bronze claw feet, the whole elevated on an associated tapering squared pedestal with Neoclassic scene of a dancing woman with cupid, with gilt bronze drapery form mounts and raised on stepped marble base, some damage and repairs. The urn height 34.25 inches (87 cm), the pedestal 42.5 inches (108 cm), overall height 76.75 inches (195 cm).
