Description
English, circa 1893. A Victorian silver plated double-ended sugar scuttle in Japanesque or Aesthetic taste having simulated bamboo frame, two hinged lids with single interior, decorated with bright cut floral motif and resting in a simulated bamboo stand accompanied with two Reed & Barton plated spoons. The underside of scuttle stamped with registration number 221895, "F & G" in a circle (unknown) along with numbers 185 and 14. Approximate height 7", width 6.5", depth 5"(spoon to spoon).
