Item Details

Description

Cool vintage Mexican art in what appears to be papier mache. First is a very tall woman, Measures approx 19", appears to be a candle holder, bottom is signed by artist Abelardo Ruiz. Next is a paper mache bust signed by Gemma Taccogna and Fed Sexton, measures approx 10.25" tall, both from Mexico.

Condition

The bust appears to be in great condition. Tall candle holder has minor chipping around the eyes and various spots on the dress, also glaze has some crazing. Chipping around the very top of the of the crown of the tall piece. Also some rubbing to the side of the tall piece.
