Calabaza was born in 1959 and has been actively potting since 1983. She collaborates with her husband Andrew and their hallmark is six dots in a triangle. Vicky does traditional Santo Domingo polychrome shapes and designs. She has innovated some unusual slips that create a very luminescent appearance.'' We really liked the beautiful symmetry of Vicky's pots. This one is a great example of a traditional Santo Domingo vase and design. The feathers around the neck and the classic geometric forms around the middle are perfectly executed.
