Description
Albanian "Rat Tail" Miquelet Pistol. 
Approximately .68 caliber, 13 1/2-inch octagonal to round barrel with decoration near breech. Full brass stock with heavily embellished scroll and punch work throughout with minor silver accents. Typical miquelet lock. Appears to have a maker's mark on lockplate. Removable cleaning rod present. Overall length: 22-inches.

Condition: Very good. Barrel cleaned with a mottled grey patina. Overall age and wear with scattered pitting. Moderate tarnish to stock with strong features. Marred screws. Crisp action. Bore dark and pitted..
