1920's E. & J.B. Empire Art Gold Jeweled Brass Trinket Box W/Image of Cleopatra - This box was made in the 1920's by E. & J.B. Empire Art Gold. The piece has a high relief image of Cleopatra in the center, and the top of the box has jeweled accents, with green, purple, pink, and blue glass stones. The top and sides have ornate garlands and foliate details all the way around. The inside of the box is lined with gold velvet, and is hallmarked "E & JB Empire Art Gold" on the bottom. This piece would make a lovely gift, and displays beautifully on a vanity, desk, table or display cabinet. The box measures 8.5" x 6.5" x 2" (approximately), and is in excellent condition.
