Description
This lovely antique jade dragon fish pendant, most likely from the qing Dynasty (1644 to 1912 ce), is gracefully carved and incised on both sides with horns and fin details. The jade appears to have been dyed to enhance the natural beauty of the stone. The pendant is approximately 2-1/4 inches long, 2-5/8 inches wide, and 3/8 inches deep.
Condition
The jade carving has been cleaned to remove surface alteration from age however light edge and surface wear are visible. Centuries of patina are still evident but only increase the natural beauty.
