Description

Rococo Cast Iron Fireplace Mantle. Signed M.M. Co. and Patented by H. Tucker, model 16 cast iron fireplace mantle with scrolling filigree crest, relief seashells in the frieze and fancy swirling filigree; has inset reverse decorated glass panels with colorful roses, filigree and peacocks. Original cast iron arch with pierced decorated grapevine pattern center panel and original fender. Has a nice black painted finish, nice condition with no breaks or repairs and no damage to the glass panels. 52 in. high x 59 in. wide x 10 in. deep, fender measures 16 in. deep – opening measures 28 in. high x 21 in. wide.
