Description
We are very pleased to offer this exceptional trio of fine English Victorian porcelain, in that which appears to be the Nightshade pattern, potted by the fabled Worcester ca. 1881. Our set includes the 2 cup, personal 4.75" teapot, the 2.5" integral flush ring handles, and 1.75" teacup + 5.5" saucer. Please note the incredible hand painted artwork, featuring exacting beaded gilded bands. The base mark on the saucer is certified as the original 1867+ crown impression Without and Dots, with the year code that seems to be an 81 = 1881. Our experts will recall that by 1891 the Royal Worcester warrant was always used for identification, as well as the new crown seen with the famed Worcester dots (1 dot) beginning to the left of the stamp in 1892. Pre 1890's Worcester items are highly collectible. Small pot 4.75", open sugar 2.50", teacup 1.75" tall, saucer 5x5". Weight on all to ship 1 pd 10 oz
