Late 19th / early 20th century, with scythe maker's mark in a shaped cartouche, further marked ''Germany'', ''800'' and with pseudo ''English'' marks, the oval-shaped bead-banded top inset with a conforming beveled-edge mirror plate, over a spreading pierced scrolling foliate body set with four rocaille-bordered reserves depicting cherubs, raised on four tapering rocaille feet, 2.75'' H x 20.75'' W x 15.5'' D
Condition
Overall good condition. General marks, scratches, rubbed wear and tarnishing to silver commensurate with age. Horizontal splits to base above two legs, one 1''- and one .5''-long. Milky spotting and fogging to mirror plate commensurate with age. Underside covered with later green felt-lined panel.
