Very fine Chinese porcelain potted in an octagonal willow leaf shaped vessel, with faceted corners and shoulders, tapering gracefully to a prominent waisted neck below the flared rim, raised on splayed foot base. Each side panel delicately decorated with story-telling hand painting of immortals in various scenes enclosed within gilt shaped cartouche, set between the filling motif decorated in colorful vivid sgraffiato ground of uptala and foliate, Shou characters and descending Fu bats, against pale-yellow glazed ground. The shoulder decorated with floral cartouche between colorful uptala against pale-turquoise-green ground, while the neck further with lotus tendrils over pale-yellow ground. Banded with numerous auspicious motifs on the rim, collar, and foot.

Mark on base, a six blue seal script -ZhuanShu- characters reign mark, QianLong Reign Period of Great Qing (1735-1796).
