Moderate wear to price-clipped dust jacket, with chipping and small open tears to edges and extremities, mild dust soiling, and foxing. 1" long tears along lower edges of front panel. Pencilled underlining to front flap. Blue paper over boards, with horse head in black to upper board, Children's Book Club device to rear board, and spine lettered in black. Moderate edge wear, soiling, and scattered rubbing to binding, with bumping to extremities. Front hinge tender, binding remains sound. Previous owner's name to front free endpaper. Age-toning to pages throughout, else unmarked.
