Green cloth over boards, with upper board stamped in gilt with knitted mittens and yarn, with same design stamped in blind to rear. Heavy edgewear to binding, with fraying and open tears to head and tail of spine and corners. Moderate scattered rubbing and bumping to extremities. Front hinge cracking and rear hinge tender. Previous owner's name to front free endpaper. Lacking tissue guard to frontispiece. Foxing to pages throughout.Illustrated in frontispiece and three plates, with color strawberry design to first page. Crayon marks to page 27.
