Ming Dynasty Chinese porcelain stoutly potted in form of a double gourd vase, both bibulous section decorated with central medallions, the upper body shows crane amidst flames, and the lower body with five-toe dragon medallion. Surrounded with stylized Uptala and flying cranes motifs banded on the angled shoulder. Cresting wavy LiShui water boldly painted around the foot.
Underglaze blue are stable with subtle shades. The Lines of the drawings are clear; the light and dark shades are subtle. Scattered minor glaze anomalies. The decoration of the double belly shows dense but not too crowded.
Mark on base, a six blue script -KaiShu- characters reign mark, WanLi Reign Period of Great Ming
