The jade stone carved unto a bell shaped vessel, fitted into a carved zitan covered box with comforting design. The ink stone exterior adorned with relief carving of archaic dragons, surrounded with auspicious geometrical patterns. The zitan wood shows purplish deep brown lustrous patina, with fine feathery grain, adorned with shallow relief of taotie mask and archaic motif. The nephrite jade displays grayish-celadon color, with sporadic golden russet inclusion, moist milky appearance.
