Chinese bamboo brush pot, carved from a cylindrical straight body, deftly carved in various relief depicted group of scholars and attendants within humble pavilions and others traversing a bridge nestled between rock hill outcrop set beneath forest mountain landscape. The bamboo display attractive golden-brown tones with darker patina adding the relief appearance. Fitted unto a Japanese wooden box.
