A good Sevres-type porcelain vase in ormolu mounts. The cover with an ormolu acanthus bud finial and cobalt ground decorated in gold, the vase body painted with a classical maiden and cherub signed R. Petit, the opposite side with floral spray, each framed in gold filigree against cobalt; bright gold plated bronze lady handles on an acanthus rim, raised on a porcelain socle in good quality ormolu bronze base with laurel and garlands stippled by hand. Good condition noting that the cover has had complete restoration. There are no other chips, cracks, repairs, scratches or wear. The ormolu rim is not attached. Some stress of wear. Natural imperfection, minor scratches and dents.Normal consider ages and wears.
