A late Victorian silver set of a cream jug, a sugar basin and six tea spoons with tongs by James Wakely & Frank Clarke Wheeler, London 1893, the jug and basin of mid 18th century Irish form and embossed with animals, birds, scrolls and flowers, each on lion mask headed paw feet, engraved with a monogram MLH, the bowl 12cm (4 3/4in) diameter; the spoons and sugar tongs cast with a bearded mask, flowers and a ribbon, 441g (14.2 oz), in a leather covered case
