A William IV silver rectangular vinaigrette, maker's mark TS, Birmingham 1833, the cover with a vacant reserve on an engine turned ground, a chased thumbpiece, reeded sides, the base engine turned, the gilt interior with a foliate pierced and engraved grille, 4.1cm (1 5/8in) long, 29g The maker is either Thomas Smith, Thomas Shaw or Thomas Simpson Jr, all were box makers.
