Set of Six French Carved Beech Rushseat Ladder Back Dining Chairs, 20th c., the shaped ladder backs over bowed woven rush seats, on tapered legs joined by tapered stretchers, H.- 39 in., W.- 17 in., D.- 16 in.

Condition

Condition consistent with age. Light wear on five rushseats. Heavy wear and approximately 12 broken strands in one seat. Five pea-size light discolorations on one stretcher. Light wear throughout, especially in the middle of the backsplats and tops of the backs. Scattered scratches and dents throughout. A charming set. ALL PROPERTY IS SOLD "AS IS."
