Painting, oil on canvas, "Portrait of a Lady", signed Federico Zandomeneghi "featured in Sotheby's 4th of November, 2011 sale, "This fine portrait was painted in 1869 when Zandomeneghi was in Florence and working under the tutelage of Antonio Ciseri.
The same model and elaborate hair style is featured in another painting from the same year." text taken from Sotheby's catalog, (see page 54), canvas size is 22 1/8" by 18", dated 1869.
