Description
Meissen (German, founded 1708), late 19th century. Three pieces of "Swan Service" porcelain, after the design by J.J. Kandler and J.F. Eberlein, including two footed vases or condiment cups and an oval platter, each molded in low relief with a pair of swans swimming in a lake with cattails, and a crane flying overhead, each with a fluted border with a gilt edge. Each with manufacturer's mark to underside. Approximate height (of platter) 1.5", width 12.125", depth 9.25". Provenance: From the Private Collection of the Owner of Chelsea House.
