Description
German, late 19th/early 20th century. A Junghans walnut and part ebonized spring driven "R-A" regulator wall clock having a swan-neck pediment flanked by turned urn finials over an arched glazed door enclosing the white enameled dial with Roman numerals and matching pendulum, the face marked "RA" with the balancing scale at base, flanked to the exterior by turned pilasters and the lower bracket with three turned drop finials. Approximate height 33", width 12.87", depth 6.25". Provenance: From the Estate of a prominent publisher and philanthropist, Greenwich, CT.
