Paul Jacoulet (French/Japanese, 1902-1960), "L'Attente", "Calme Truck" and "Untitled - Pair of Portraits", three color woodblocks, the first two signed, stamped and titled, the last signed in plate and stamped, sights 16-1/2" x 13", 12-3/4" x 16" and sheets 6" x 4", respectively. All glazed, matted and framed. Provenance: Merryl Israel Aron, New Orleans, Louisiana.

All examples exhibit yellowing to paper and the "L'Attente" and "Calme Truck" have scattered minor foxing, although more prevalent in the latter. All have some creasing to paper, most visible in the margins and edges. "Calme Truck" exhibits soiling to upper margins. "L'Attente" with linear light discoloration throughout, perhaps from surface abrading. Not examined out of the frames.
