NOTE: As found in the estate and not seen publicly since the late 1950's, "the coin-slotted piglet was first published on page 37 of the 20 November 1954 issue of The New Yorker magazine and subsequently appeared on page 92 of the Addams compilation book titled Nightcrawlers published by Simon & Schuster in 1957". the image is good, minor toning outside the image, the mat is quite toned, and the inscription faded but readable. We have removed lot 209 from its frame and found the mat and drawing both laid down on cardboard - all three Addams drawings are framed similarly and bidders should assume the same condition.
