Approximately 80 black & white prints and a single color print. Approximately 20 are 7x5" and approximately 60 are 8x10". The majority of the larger prints have the photographers studio or address stamps on the reverse, the smaller prints are not stamped.

The greats of the Jazz world, mostly performance images. Includes photographs of Miles Davis, Ella Fitzgerald, Louis Armstrong, Velma Middleton, Stan Getz, Josephine Baker, Count Basie, John Coltrane, Dizzy Gillespie, Bennie Goodman, Duke Ellington, Oscar Petersen, Lionel Hampton, and others. A small group of negatives is also included. From the estate of the photographer, Michael Montfort.
