AMERICAN WINDSOR ARMCHAIR, oak/hickory and pine, bow-back form with seven spindles, shaped arm rests, wide peaked-saddle plank seat, and splayed bamboo-turned legs joined with H-form stretcher. Refinished surface with mellow color. Late 18th/early 19th century. 37 1/2" HOA, 15 1/4" x 21" seat.
Very good overall with minor expected wear.
Provenance: Property from the private collection of Audrey "Dolly" and the late William "Billy" Journell, Leesburg, VA.
