Rome, Imperial Period, ca. 1st century BCE to 1st century CE. A beautiful, solid cast bronze figure of a naked boy with a finely delineated visage and wavy coiffure, playfully sitting on a stump with his right foot perched against his left knee, leaning upon his left hand as he triumphantly raises a lost object in his right. Custom, wood block stand. Size: figure itself measures 1.75" W x 2.625" H (4.4 cm x 6.7 cm); 4.75" H on stand
