Finely sculpted portrait dolls have porcelain shoulderhead with painted gray hair, Martha with sculpted bonnet, painted features, original cloth bodies with porcelain hands and lower legs, painted shoes and socks, dressed in original, beautifully-detailed colonial costumes. Commentary: Original pair of historic figures by the well-known American artist; Martha has broken left pinky finger, otherwise excellent.
