Rare model with a lock and key in perfect working order. Very rare and collectable in this condition. This item came to us out of an estate in the Los Angeles area. Originally from Germany, the owner's family came to America in the mid 1930’s settling in Chicago. The family moved to Los Angeles in the mid 1970’s. Silver Plate, Unknown Polish Manufacture. Tzedakah is a Hebrew word literally meaning justice or righteousness but commonly used to signify charity. It is based on the Hebrew word meaning righteousness, fairness or justice. In Judaism, tzedakah refers to the religious obligation to do what is right and just, which Judaism emphasizes are important parts of living a spiritual life. Tzedakah is considered to be one of the three main acts that can annul a less than favorable heavenly decree.
