Description
An Egyptian green faience ushabti, Late Period, c. 664 - 332 BC, mummiform with integral base, wearing tripartite wig and false beard, arms folded at chest, hands holding a pick and hoe, bag over left shoulder and vertical plinth down the back. Down from of body and legs is a 'T-Style' hieroglyphic inscription. H: 4 1/8 in (10.4 cm). Very well preserved with excellent style and color. Ex East Yorkshire, UK private collection.
