Description
A PAIR OF ENGLISH SILVER AND GUILLOCHÉ ENAMEL BOXES, CIRCA 1880-1890. One round with blue enameled lid (slightly damaged), the other oval with translucent turquoise enamel over an engine turned fan shaped ground. Both with English silver marks. Greatest width 3.25 inches (8.2 cm). Together with an interesting lapis and cut rock crystal cane handle, 20th century. The flared form in two parts with a faceted crystal band at center and the base of handle set with screw attachment. Possibly Russian. Lengths 2.5 inches (6.5 cm) excluding screw.
