Description
Edward Marshall Boehm (American, 1949-) for Lenox (American, founded 1889), 1970-1981. A set of 12 limited annual edition ornithological porcelain cabinet plates, each having an 24K-gold intricate floral border and a central enameled bird, including "Wood Thrush" (1970), "Mountain Bluebird" (1972), (2) "Meadowlark" (1973), "Rufous Hummingbird" (1974), "American Redstart" (1975), "Cardinal" (1976), "Robin" (1977), "Mockingbirds" (1978), "Kinglets" (1979), "Black-Throated Blue Warbler" (1980), "Eastern Phoebe" (1981). Signed "Boehm" to front, and marked to the reverse with maker, year, title, and series name. Approximate diameter 10.75".
