Description
Austrian, late 19th/early 20th century. An .800 silver oval-form serving bowl decorated with ornate scallop acanthus repousse designs along with intricate open-work lattice cartouches and raised on four openwork feet. Marked to interior bowl with the Dianakopf or Diana's head mark in petal shape with the number "3" for .800 purity and V for the city of Vienna. Also marked "V N" for Victor Nuber, Vienna (active 1891-1905). Approximate height 2.37", width 1.12", depth 8.12". Approximate total weight 8.85 troy ounces.
