Description
Rare Fisher Body Craftsman Guild contest car. This handcrafted concept car was part of the legendary Fisher Body Craftman's Guild contest that existed from 1930 to 1968. Second only to the Boy Scouts in membership at its height, the contest allowed for boys across the country to design and build futuristic concept cars that could be submitted to General Motors. This car in particular is crafted of wood. It features a futuristic design with baby blue and black painted detail as well as aluminum bumpers and wire embellishments. The headlights feature reflective aluminum foil detail and the rear lights are cleverly crafted of found metal pens. It measures 15" x 6" x 3.5". It is in good condition with cracks to the wood and paint, scuffs and oxidation to the metal wire. In house continental USA shipping $65 plus insurance.
