Description
Miracle Flying Missiles. New York: George J. Cook, ca. 1950. A card is chosen from a jumbo pack, which is placed in a holder on a table. A spectator imagines he is holding a gun in his hands and points it at the table. In quick succession, flowers fly off of the plant on the table, a wand and handkerchief resting on it fly off, and cards fly out of the houlette leaving only the selected card behind. Table 32" high. With original instructions, wand, flowers, extra wire, cards, a recent DVD explaining its operation, and all necessary accessories. Indicator lamp in need of replacement. Not tested. Scarce. The precursor to a popular effect known as Jumbo Sidekick, and operating by a concealed motor which heated several copper wires to red-hot in quick succession. As each wire broke, the various elements of the device were activated.
