The Poseidon Adventure. The Poseidon Adventure was a 1972 disaster film on Paul Gallico's novel of the same name. The film features an ensemble cast, including Ernest Borgnine (1917-2012), Shelley Winters (1920-2006), Carol Lynley (1942- ), Stella Stevens (1938- ), Roddy McDowall (1928-1998) and Pamela Sue Martin (1953- ). It won a Special Achievement Academy Award for Visual Effects and an Academy Award for Best Original Song. 10” x 8” color cast photograph by five of the above named stars. Double matted with a check written and signed by Lynley. McDowell’s signature is faded, but legible, there is some lifting on the Shelly Winters and Borgnine and Stevens signature and cancellation stamps touch Lynley’s check face and signature.
