Excellent sterling silver cloisonne miniature carriage clock case has green enamel panels, black trim and enamel floral corner spandrels with gilt inlays, stands on a dark green quartz base with turned quarts repeater button on top; case is singed inside the back door “E. Mathey Tissot & Co., Switzerland, 12599” and marked “Sterling, Argent, 0.935” and has a gold washed interior. The miniature silvered brass spring driven movement is signed “E. Mathey Tissot & Co., Switzerland, 7569”, 15 jewels, 3 adjustments, platform lever escapement and minute repeater strike on 2 coiled gongs; an independent spring is wound through the repeater button on top of the case. Movement is running, repeater mechanism is running, in excellent condition with no damages to the case; in an original leather covered travel box.
