Color lithograph print, image approximately 36x51 cm (14¼x20"), plus margins. Overall 50.5x62 cm (20x24¼").

Signed by Aldin in the lower left and with the small embossed stamp of the Fine Art Trade Guild. One of a series of six prints of famous British courses by Alden. Aldin (1870-1935) was a prolific painter, perhaps better known for his sensitive depictions of his dogs, horses, and fox-hunting scenes. Aldin was a member of the Royal Society of British Artists. Rare.

Condition

Light matt-burn and some foxing in margins, evidence of prior mounting at edges on reverse; very good.
