MAHOGANY AND VERRE EGLOMISE 8-DAY WALL CLOCK, BRISTOL, CONNECTICUT, LATE 19TH CENTURY, with rectangular ogee molded mahogany veneer framed door fitted at the bottom with transfer printed on glass image of a classical structure on an island framed by an architectural arch in imitation of verre eglomise, at the top hand painted wooded dial on cream ground with floral sprays at the corners, black Roman hours, fitted with 8-day movement, marks: "Forestville Manufactg Co, Bristol, Ct, USA" painted to the dial, "FORESTVILLE, MFG CO., BRISTOL, CT, USA" stamped to movement.
