Description
1st item: Leonard Pieter Versteeg (Netherlands, 1901-1992) charcoal portrait of a gentleman with a medal pinned to his lapel. Signed and dated "L. P. VERSTEEG MEI (May) 24" upper right corner. Housed in a gilt and gesso wood frame. Sight - 22-3/4" H x 17-3/4" W. Framed - 25" H x 19-3/4" W. 2nd item: After Jan van Eyck (Flemish, ca. 1390-1441), four framed lithograph panels depicting the Annunciation, from the "Ghent Altarpiece". Each panel individually framed within a larger wooden frame. Sight - 11-1/2" H x 21-3/4" W. Framed - 15-1/4" H x 25-1/2" W. Circa 1900. Condition
1st item: Some toning to paper. Scratch to upper right corner. Losses to frame. 2nd item: Abrasions to frame, glass missing. Lithograph overall good condition.
