Description
1st item: Arts and Crafts serving tray or platter, possibly Biltmore Industries, Asheville, North Carolina, or Tryon Toymakers, Tryon, NC. Walnut with two hammered copper handles and dogwood carved edges, the center surface having a carved oval monogram upper left "RBN". 1 3/4" x 16" x 26" not including handles. 2nd item: Walnut and cast bronze wall sconce with bell-shaped clear glass shade, carved urn and flame finial, mounted hook, top, and shade arm, bottom. Bracket on top back of sconce. Sconce - 27 1/2" H x 4 1/2" W x 9" D. Shade - 14" H x 7 1/4" dia. Both items early 20th century. Condition
1st item: Wear and some staining to center surface. 2nd item: Overall good condition. Scratches to surface of wood. Two areas of oxidation, largest 1 1/4" x 1 1/4", to bronze hardware. 3" x 1" area of damage to back of sconce, not visible from front. Shade finial is not securely mounted.
